Stanford Club presents ...Anthony Tyler

After our very successful and most enjoyable inaugural speaker event with Blair Pickerell, Managing Director & CEO, Asia, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, we are pleased to bring you our next equally weighty alumni in the 2^nd speaker event, moving from Finance to Aviation.  Your Club committee will continue to build this speaker series as a Club tradition for members to meet alumni leaders in an informal and personal setting of 12-15 attendees.     

Our 2^nd speaker will be attended by guest of honor Antony Tyler, Chief Executive of Cathay Pacific Airways, everyone’s favorite airline in HK.  A true Swire veteran, Tony joined John Swire and Sons in 1977 and moved to Cathay the following year.  He became Chief Executive last year and currently is also the Chairman of HK Dragon Airlines Ltd.  Needless to say, Tony is much involved in the development of the aviation industry at large and will become Chairman of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Board of Governors in June next year.
